Silicon Qubit Workshop Monday, August 24, 2009 - Tuesday, August 25, 2009

The Silicon Qubit Workshop will focus on quantum information science and technology of silicon based approaches to realizing quantum electronic circuitry. This year's workshop will be organized jointly by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (www.lbl.gov) and Sandia National Laboratory (www.sandia.gov) and will be held August 24-25, on the University of California Berkeley campus (www.citris-uc.org). The purpose of this workshop is to produce a focus workshop environment where the details of silicon based quantum electronic device fabrication, measurement, theory, as well as the classical-quantum interface, can be discussed. Attendance is by invitation.

Workshop format

Each workshop day will consist of approximately 20-minute talks. A poster session will be held on the first day of the workshop following the afternoon talks. Poster presenters will present a brief synopsis of their poster to the entire group immediately before the poster session. We encourage invited attendees to submit either an abstract for a poster or talk, but this is not a requirement for attendance. Students and post doc presentations and participation are particularly encouraged.
